Operations Director and Co-owner, Expect Distribution

In 2021, Andy and Matthew Kilner completed a MBO of Expect Distribution, and subsequently acquired Pallet Plus in Colchester in 2023 and Longs of Leeds in late-2025. Today, Expect is a people-centric and customer-focused business, operating 600k sq ft of Warehousing and 250 HGV’s across six sites. 

In late 2024, it launched its own proprietary TMS, Motion, which it uses across all of its Transport operations, and which is fully integrated via real-time API with PTV RouteOptimiser. As a founding member of eFREIGHT 2030, Expect Distribution actively contributes to shaping the future of UK freight through collaboration and innovation.
