Staring out her career as a solicitor, Beverley established her own practice, specialising in criminal and transport law. In 2000 she was appointed as Traffic Commissioner for the North West of England, becoming the first female Commissioner. She served as the Senior Traffic Commissioner for Great Britain between 2012 and 2017 when she was awarded a CBE in the 2017 Queen’s Birthday Honours list for services to road safety and the freight industry.

After retiring from her public role in 2017, Beverley founded Beverley Bell Consulting using her unrivalled experience of the commercial vehicle transport sector to help clients implement best practice, fulfil their legal obligations, improve their operational efficiency, and create long term lasting change in their businesses.

Beverley is a well-known and influential figure in the road transport sector, who has been instrumental in driving significant and positive change.
