Family Values
Since the very beginning, Ford & Slater has been a family run business. The company was purchased by Peter Strevens in 1991 and today his two sons Tim and Nigel Strevens are joint Managing Directors. Our foundation as a family business means that even as we grow, we still keep those family values at the heart of how we do business and the way in which we work with our customers, DAF Trucks and our employees.
Our Team
We have a team of over 500 employees throughout the group and we pride ourselves on the average length of service within the business. Our low turnover of staff means our team have a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise. As the group continues to grow, we continue to invest heavily in the next generation of commercial vehicle professionals, developing apprentices and junior members of staff in both workshop and office positions.
